Carroll University’s History minor complements many fields of study, including business, criminal justice, sociology, political science, PPE (politics, philosophy and economics), and even the fine arts. The six-course history minor asks you to take three survey-level courses (one each in European, U.S. and world history), as well as three upper-level history courses. You’re also welcome to complete an internship, study abroad and participate in extracurricular opportunities.
A minor in history allows you to broaden your understanding of other cultures, develop the skills of qualitative analysis and explain complex ideas in your field of study.
